An Effective Alternative Treatment for ADHD

What is Crossinology?

This article talks about Crossinology® Brain Integration is an alternative treatment for ADHD.Brain Integration Technique as an alternative treatment for ADHD. Brain Integration improves the areas of the brain that are stopping people from being their best. Brain Integration is a non-invasive treatment for ADHD that uses acupressure techniques that involve very light touch on specific points to re-establish the brain’s electro-magnetic integrity. The people I work with know they’re smarter and more capable than their grades or performance at school or work, indicate. Improving the brain’s capabilities will improve academic performance, focus, balance and emotions.

You will learn how this alternative treatment for ADHD works and what will be possible for you or your child once you have undergone this inventive technique. The most common solution to ADHD is medication, but you may have concerns about taking drugs or giving them to your child. Now you have an alternative treatment for ADHD that effectively alleviates the symptoms of ADHD in children and adults of all ages.

Are you already taking a typical drug treatment for ADHD in children and adults? The good news is Brain Integration can be undertaken while you or your child is on medication. Medications will not prevent you or your child from obtaining the desired outcome, effects or improvements of the Brain Integration treatment.

How Long Will Treatment for ADHD Take?

The Brain Integration ADHD treatment usually requires about 12 to 16 hours and we can complete these sessions within two to three days, or we can spread them out over a few weeks or months. The client may also want to come in for a six-to-eight-week follow-up. This session usually lasts an hour or two. The length of each person’s program varies because of individual needs. Some people with only one or two areas of deficit may need fewer hours to complete the whole program, whereas others with many areas of deficit need more time.

Out-of-Town Alternative Treatment for ADHD

Brain Integration is ideal for out-of-town visitors because the treatment can be completed in two or three days. I invite you to call me for a free evaluation over the phone. I reserve a few days specifically for out-of-town appointments.

Assessment for ADHD Treatment

The very best way to know if, or how, Brain Integration can help is to schedule an assessment for ADHD treatment. During the assessment we can talk about the individual person instead of general issues, and determine how many hours are needed to complete the desired result.

What Causes Brain Dis-integration?

Brain Integration is a non-invasive treatment for ADHD in adults and children.

Brain Integration is a non-invasive treatment for ADHD in adults and children.

Normally the left and right hemispheres of the brain communicate with each other at all times and are said to be “integrated.” This process causes us to have coherent thoughts. When someone experiences an injury, environmental or emotional trauma, the brain can become dis-integrated. A dis-integrated brain may have one or more problems with learning, memory, focus or emotions. Brain Integration improves communication within your brain, and allows you to form coherent thoughts in an “integrated” brain.

Several different systems within the brain are involved in the performance of one task. It doesn’t matter if the task is a very simple one. Information must flow through several systems, so it is imperative that these systems are “integrated” before you can think about performing a task. When these systems are not integrated, you have difficulties processing emotional and mental stimuli, and this causes stress. Then, you or your child may be under too much stress to be able to control emotions.

Treatment for ADHD in Adults and Children

We develop an ADHD treatment plan for you or your child by conducting an initial assessment. We highlight what the brain’s strengths and weaknesses are during this time. The parent is in the room at all times when we are working with your child.

During this innovative treatment for ADHD, we correct the specific brain areas that presented themselves during the assessment. We use acupressure techniques that involve very light touch on specific points to re-establish the brain’s electro-magnetic integrity. This results in integration between the left and right hemispheres, communication within the brain, and leads to the release of emotional stress. Thus brain functioning is improved, specifically in learning ability, creativity, physical co-ordination and emotional wellbeing.

Brain Integration is completely non-invasive and suitable for people of all ages. Most of my clients report that Brain Integration is a very soothing and relaxing experience. I have been blessed with a natural ability to work with children and many years of experience. I have my own children and grandchildren; I was co-owner of a daycare for over twenty years, and have been working with children with ADHD for years. Some parents with young or more difficult children are amazed how well-behaved their children are during the appointment.

What to Expect after Treatment

If you or your child are undergoing tutoring or training in an academic subject or a skill, you will need to continue with this instruction. After the ADHD treatment, you will discover that the tutoring will have a greater effect than it did before Brain Integration. Therapists often refer their clients that are struggling with emotional problems because Brain Integration dramatically accelerates their progress.

The non-medication treatment for ADHD is permanent and does not have to be repeated. Brain injuries can cause ADHD symptoms in anyone. It makes no difference whether they did Brain Integration therapy or not. I work with people who have experienced a brain injury, and Brain Integration has been highly effective.

Typical Improvements After ADHD Treatment

Once you begin to make improvements with Brain Integration treatment for ADHD, they will be yours for life. Just some of these life enhancements include the following:

  • The ability to read a passage one time and comprehend it
  • The ability to concentrate on one subject for a longer period of time
  • Improved mathematical and spelling abilities
  • The ability to complete what you start
  • The ability to be organized
  • The ability to improve your emotional state
  • Increased self-confidence
  • Increased physical coordination

After this ADHD treatment is over, you will want to think differently about your abilities. In the past, you or your child may have avoided subjects and activities that were hard for you. To benefit fully from Brain Integration alternative treatment for ADHD, you will need to embrace those difficult things. This encourages the brain to continue to make improvements.

Reading and Hearing Comprehension Problems

Reading is a very complicated process. The brain has to translate squiggly lines into a letter, combine letters to make a word, add meaning to the word, comprehend a sentence, store it in the memory and then be able to think about it and apply it to school, work or life. Reading uses many areas of the brain at once to complete this task. If there is a block or communication error anywhere in this string of events, there will be reading issues. If the problem is in the beginning steps a person will have trouble seeing, learning or pronouncing words. If the person can read fluently but not comprehend it’s just a matter of getting it to the memory. Tenth grade is an important year to pass the End-of-Grade or FCAT test. I have had many students that could read but they never have been able to pass the reading comprehension part of the test. After completing Brain Integration all of the children I’ve worked with have passed!

Auditory (hearing) comprehension is similar. Someone that can hear the sound fine but has a low hearing comprehension will have problems remembering directions, following directions or poor listening skills. Difficulties can show up in academic subjects or behavior. Some people many have both reading and hearing comprehension problems. Brain Integration’s ADHD treatment helps with both of these issues.

Treating ADHD in the Work Environment

As you may know, some of the most intelligent and creative people have learning disabilities. They may be otherwise successful, but have one or two areas that consistently cause problems, for example:

  • A fear of public speaking
  • Difficulties solving problems
  • The inability to plan and to organize their days
  • Faulty memory
  • Being late for work
  • Poor decisions making
  • Not finishing tasks in a timely manner
  • Difficulty remembering verbal instruction
  • Writing numbers correctly
  • Difficulty staying focused
  • Reading, spelling or math difficulties

For employers the cost of treatment for ADHD in adults is usually less (as well as more effective) than the cost of replacing the employee. You get to keep this great employee and he or she gets to experience life in a whole new way!

Treatment for ADHD in Adults at Home

It’s often the spouse that makes the appointment. If you are the spouse you know what their issues are but you know also their good qualities too. Brain Integration improves focus. This improves their ability to pay attention to your conversation, finish a task and see you in a restaurant rather than everyone that moves or walks by. Did you know that organization is nothing more than making good decisions? Brain Integration improves the ability to make decisions and get organized. If your spouse was able to make better decisions, how would your life be better? Our ADHD treatment improves memory, too. Wouldn’t it be great to have a partner that was on time, remembered to complete things and remembered your birthday? Brain Integration calms them down naturally and alleviates fidgety, nervous, restless, distractible, loud or impulsive behavior. Isn’t it time for Brain Integration and a calmer life? People with symptoms of ADHD have a higher risk of using illegal substances and alcohol. Brain Integration alleviates the symptoms of ADHD. It’s time to have or be the partner that is focused, attentive and steady.

Is Brain Integration a Good Treatment for Children?

Have you tried yelling, bribing, tutoring, getting angry, hours of homework, sweet-talking and yelling LOUDER? If grades are still low and attitude is getting worse, Brain Integration is the help you’ve been looking for. This treatment for ADHD in children will help your child overcome learning disabilities and develop an increased sense of self-esteem.

ADHD affects each child differently. Focus is a big issue for many children, causing difficulties in many areas of life. Many children have problems with academic subjects, but some don’t. Some have coordination or balance problems. For many children controlling their emotions is difficult.

Many parents say that homework is a nightmare and an hour of homework take three hours. Every night there are arguments. This can lead to low self-esteem, tears, “I hate school or the struggling subject”, anger and “I’m never going to succeed”. It not fun for the parent either. Brain Integration will not make them want to do their homework, but parents have told me that they complete their homework more quickly and without arguments. Home life is calmer and their children’s focus and class participation is also improved.

Research Has Shown That These Techniques Work

Susan McCrossin developed Brain Integration in 1988, and she has written several articles on this subject. Feel free to visit her website at www.crossinology.com.
